Lets assume that you want to have an arrow in your webpage. Also for some whacky reason, you don’t want an image file to show that arrow, as they’ll take time to load up and needlessly slow down your webpage. Or maybe you want to dynamically change the arrow direction and size -> which could be done using PHP and CSS.
Well here is a great idea to do that.
CSS3 has new transform options with which you can create a rectangle and a triangle and put borders on them. You can do it in such a way as to make your arrow.
