How to Master English Part-II

images

This is the second part of the series. Here we discuss oh how to speak english; the 1st part was about how to understand english when somebody is speaking.

Like the first part, this piece is about how to master talking in english in (at least) 6 months.

2 things →

♣ If you are looking for something fast, then this is not the place.

♥ Unlike the 1st part, this is not easy.

Great thing about this part is that you can do it alongwith the 1st part. It is not required, but it would be nice if you did.

Like the 1st part, the 2nd part also says the same thing. Learn it the same way you learned to speak Marathi- as a child. No books, no grammar lessons, no composition ………. just talk.

Just talk to everybody you don’t require to communicate clearly. Like friends, mother (not your father  J ), sister, brother, Girlfriends, Boyfriends. This would be the same as listening- it is hard for the first two months.

The trick is – DONOT GIVE UP! Just don’t give up no matter how much inaccurately you utter the words. You don’t have to be perfect the first time you utter hello. Language is an art, the more you practise, the better you get at it.

But as you talk more and more

, you will remember more and more. You will get better and better and have some idea in two month. By six months, you would be proficient enough to be
able to talk like you live in England.

To make it faster and to become more proficient, it is advised (but not essential) that you make take some kind of punishment whenever you don’t talk it. For example you can pay somebody or some organisation 1 rupay whenever you don’t talk english when the talk is unimportant. That 1 rupee adds up. Or you can tell your friend to kick you (slap you if the friend is a girl) whenever you don’t talk in english.

The Trick is, I reiterate –

DO NOT GIVE UP.
